Abby became part of the WSBT 22 First Alert weather team in March 2010. She delivers the forecast on WSBT 22 News First at 4 and WSBT 22 News at 5 and 5:30 Monday through Friday.

In addition to Abby’s daily responsibilities to the WSBT 22 weather department, she's also a part of the area’s most successful morning radio show on Sunny 101.5. Five days a week, listeners start their day with Abby’s wit, humor, entertainment updates and spontaneous jabs at Jack and Bruce. When you jump in the car, don’t miss the opportunity to catch the Jack, Bruce and Abby Show from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Abby grew up in Akron, Ohio, with her parents and three older sisters. She obtained her Geoscience degree with a focus in Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Prior to becoming a Bulldog, Abby graduated cum laude from Miami University of Ohio with a major in Mass Communications and a minor in Political Science.

Before joining WSBT 22, Abby was a weather anchor and co-anchor for four years at WTAP-TV which covers the Mid-Ohio Valley. During her four years there, Abby was honored as "best weathercaster" by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association as well as being named "best anchor" and "best weathercast" by the Associated Press.

In her spare time, Abby and her husband, Jason, love hanging out with their son, Brayden and pug, Phillip. She loves following sports, politics and the all the crazy weather that comes with living near Lake Michigan!
