Bourbon motorcyclist dies after hitting deer

BOURBON -- A Bourbon man is dead following a Marshall County motorcycle accident involving a deer.

According to Marshall County Deputy Coroner Lisa Richards, a deer ran out in front of 45-year-old Michael A. Disher as he was driving his motorcycle east on 9B Road between Hickory and Grape Roads around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Disher was reportedly unable to avoid the animal, and struck it with his motorcycle.

Disher was pronounced dead at the scene.
