Good news for plant workers at AM General -- the company is recalling 200 workers early next month.

Jeff Adams from AM General tells WSBT, "This advance notification over the next few weeks and subsequent employee recall in early February is in response to a previously planned foreign military order of HMMWVs for the Military Assembly Plant and the restart of production operations for the commercial MV-1 vehicle."

The MV-1 is the first wheelchair-accessible vehicle built from the ground up.

The company has headquarters in South Bend and has major facilities in nearby Mishawaka; Livonia, Michigan and Franklin, Ohio.
