Police plan to release surveillance video from a fire started by a shoplifter at at a Walmart in Niles.
Niles Township Fire Department say they were called out around 5:00 Sunday morning for a fire at the Walmart Supercenter on South 11th Street.

Walmart spokesperson Randy Hargrove tells us the fire was a result of a customer in the apparel section. Police say he then went and stole things from the electronic section.
Berrien County Police Department will be holding a press conference at 3:00 Monday afternoon. We're told they plan to provide the media with surveillance video of the incident and ask the public's help in identifying the suspect, or suspects, involved.
The store had to be evacuated at the time of the blaze and Hargrove says it will remain closed until Tuesday as crews work to clean up the wire damage.

On 1-12-14 @ 0447 Hrs a Suspect walked into Walmart, Located at 2107 S. 11th St. Niles Twp, and went to a clothing Department and started a fire. Once the fire started the suspect walked to the Electronic’s department, and smashed a display case stealing numerous electronic’s. Suspect fled out front door, and left in a newer, Dark colored 4dr sedan.
Suspect appears to be a W/M , thin build, wearing a brown pants, dark colored shirt.
Suspect was wearing mask.
