The Mishawaka mayor has proposed the city's next budget, and he wants to hear what you think about it.
Our partners at the South Bend Tribune tell us Mayor Dave Wood is proposing what he calls a conservative budget for 2014.
It includes 1.5 percent raises for all city employees and money to start Mishawaka's own health insurance program.
The budget adds up to a little more than $53 million, a slight increase from this year.
The city also estimates a slight tax rate increase for residents.
A public hearing will take place next Monday night at City Hall.
