Three Elkhart County people are in jail this morning after officers discovered a mobile meth lab during a traffic stop near Wakarusa.

Police stopped these three people after their SUV rolled through a stop sign at County Road 38 and County Road 11 Thursday.

The driver 33-year-old Heather Meador had a suspended driver's license and the license plate on the car was reported as stolen out of Goshen.

Police say Meador and the two passengers, 30-year-old Ashley Seabolt and 31-year-old Derek Dewing, claimed they knew nothing about the meth that was later discovered in the SUV.

All three were arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

Meador has additional charges for driving while suspended, and possession of stolen property.
