You may have heard the jets on Friday as the Blue Angels arrived in South Bend for Saturday's Notre Dame vs. Navy game.
The U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron will perform a flyover just before Saturday's kickoff.
Just after noon on Friday, they did a few flyovers.
The trip to South Bend means a little more to one of the pilots as Lt. John Hiltz is a 2002 Notre Dame graduate and former basketball player.
"It's a tremendous honor to be back here," said Hiltz. "It's been a little while since I've been back on campus, and to be able to interact with the University of Notre Dame again and be able to kind of show the things I've done since leaving there with the rest of my teammates is going to be a really proud moment."
Lt. Hiltz is the number two pilot, so he will be on the right of the lead jet.
After the flyover, the pilots will get to go back to the stadium to see the game where he says he will be rooting for Notre Dame.
